With the announcement that Todd Bishop and John Cook were leaving Seattle tech news website TechFlash to start their own tech news site, GeekWire, I thought it would be a good time to give a shout-out to some of the Seattle local news sites that I enjoy:
- Publicola – Founded by former Stranger editor, Josh Feit, and joined by star local politics reporter Erica Barnett
- Seattle P-I – The long-time print newspaper recently moved to online-only. Especially check-out Pulitzer-winning cartoonist David Horsey and columnist Joel Connelly
- Northwest Progressive Institute (NPI) Advocate – Insightful writing by Andrew Villenueve and his staff
- HA Seattle – Founded by David Goldstein (aka Goldy) who is now at weekly, the Stranger
There are also a ton of great local neighborhood blogs. One of my personal favorites are Wallyhood. Do you have any favorites?
